'Good girls go to heaven.  Bad girls go everywhere.'

Most famously know for being the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Magazine, Helen Gurley Brown died on August 13, 2012 at the age of 90.  An advocate of women's sexual freedom, she turned a struggling publication into a cutural phenomenon when she took the helm in 1965.  Her writings and ideas conicided with the 'sexual revolution'.  Feminists did not support her, and neither did advocates of traditional roles for women, but the readers did and Brown remained as editor of Cosmo for over 30 years.
